Andri Snær Magnason is an Icelandic writer born in Reykjavik Andri is the only writer that has won the Icelandic Literaty Award in all categories. He has also won major literary awards in France, USA, UK and Italy, like the Philip K. Dick honorary mention in USA and Premia Tiziano Terzani in Italy. Andri wrote the words to memorize Ok glacier - the first glacier Iceland lost to climate change. His words have been placed on dead glaciers in Mexico, France and Nepal. Andri is a frequent artistic collaborator, he has worked or performed with world leading artists like Yo Yo Ma, The Kronos Quartet, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Björk.
